Music

The core ingredient of the site is the music that is available to be listened to, voted on, and critiqued. If you click on the “Music” link above you will navigate to a fortress of music genres. Since we separate all of the music on the site via genre, you simply must choose one genre of interest at a time to take a look at its “Featured Artists,” new songs, hot songs, and new members. If you’re a huge fan of a particular genre, this could be considered your "portal to your new favorite music."

Battles

The battle link at the top of the page allows you to view all of the past, current, and future battles in each musical genre. This is where you will want to go in order to participate in the voting process for the battles. Simply choose a genre and start sorting through all of the battle’s participating artists.

Map

Everyone at Songclash really enjoy this feature. The map displays a complete map of the United States with information on the location of all the users. This means that you’re a user in Orlando, Florida, you can click on Florida, navigate to the city of Orlando, and immediately view all of the Songclashers that are close to you geographically. As Songclash becomes more and more populated, we anticipate this feature being a quick and easy way to find local bands for you to support in your hometown.

Live Show

Songclash is about building a community of users that can share in their love for music and take an active role in changing the new music industry. The live show is where we hope this community comes together to join forces, acknowledge changes in the industry and review all that is taking place on Songclash. These live shows will be streamed… you guessed it – LIVE! Via UStream, the show’s hosts will answer questions, engage with users and reveal tips and tricks on how best to use the website. Plus, you never know when a major recording artist will stop by as a guest during these weekly shows.
