I like so many kinds of genres of music thanks to my grandmother Katherine Crim who introduced me to Classical music at an early age. It is because of her that I have learned not to bias in learning about other cultures and to be open to new experiences.

I find inspiration for writing through my own personal experiences, others, or just by observing life. I was also inspired by other artists like Richard Smallwood, Jill Scott, and Joe Cocker. However, I first wanted to become a songwriter when I was a teenager after listening to Amy Grant's "Amy Grant: The Collection”.

I hope to reach a level of excellence by becoming a professional writer in the music industry. I would be so honored if any of my songs are chosen through any record label.
In my free time I write poetry. I also do other sorts of things like going to church, the movies, salsa dancing, the museums, resorts, and enjoying family.

I recently wrote a book entitled Wild Horses Run Free (Poems, Prose & Essays), which was featured into The New York Times on 2-6-2011. I hope that the poems that I have recently revised and converted into songs will be enjoyed by my global readership once any of them are chosen by any music producers.
